The Oromo Youth Association Netherlands (OYAN) is a community driven organization dedicated to empowering Oromo youth living in the Netherlands. Rooted in unity, cultural pride, and collective growth, we aim to create a strong platform where young people can connect, develop, and thrive both socially and personally.

Our association was founded with the vision of strengthening the Oromo community by nurturing the next generation of leaders. We are committed to preserving and promoting the rich Oromo language, culture, traditions, and values while supporting youth in their journey of self-development and integration into Dutch society.

Through mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement, we encourage young people to actively participate in society, build meaningful connections, and contribute positively both locally and internationally. We believe in the power of unity and collaboration, and we strive to amplify the voices of Oromo youth while fostering a sense of belonging and shared identity.
